An attractive twin pedestal, chunky vintage oak desk of good proportion with a locking tambour front roll top. Beautiful and extremely useful, this fine example has a back over tambour which slides back, constructed from slats of wood, enclosing drawers and pigeon holes and also benefits from 2 slides for extra work area. It has 8 generous drawers, 6 small and 2 large, with simple lip handles. This lovely vintage item remains in good solid condition, though there are the usual minor bumps and marks associated with a long and useful life, it still remains a very stylish and functional and will continue to provide good service for many years to come...

FLAWS:  There are some surface markings and small splits to the wood, as you would expect from a used piece. The pull out slides both have stronger scratches on them (see photographs). A small natural split in the wood, between planks, in the desk area. The right hand drawer in the interior, the top right drawer and the 3rd left hand drawer, all have some ink staining in the interior.

This is a stunning piece of mid-century furniture with great detailing and above all extremely useful. It is likely a stripey mahogany but it has faded to a lovely walnut patina. It has 4 slimline drawers, each with 2 copper inlays with feather detailing each side of a small tapered 'cone' shaped pull, one drawer has a green baize covered sectional divider for cutlery.  There are 4 wide cupboards, again with tapered pulls, the lovely thing about them is that the grain of the wood follows through the whole length of the piece. Inside 1 cupboard are 3 pull out linen shelf drawers and the left 2 cupboards are fitted with a slimline shaped shelf. The top section has an attractive curve to the rear of the piece and the base has a slight curved skirt which joins onto the slimline tapered legs. This sideboard is really evocative of the era, a really unique piece that would look as good upstairs as in a lounge or kitchen diner...

An excellent pair of Regency cabinets with lovely detailing that embody the design aesthetic of this period. Curved shaped tops hold drawers with round brass handles with embossed Prince of Wales feather emblems. These sit on a tall cupboard section, that houses a pull out drawer and a deep drawer, with a brass pull handle, originally used to house wine. The door has an inset ogee shape, that shows off the beautiful flame mahogany wood, that has 2 twisted columns running up either side. Each cabinet sits on shaped turned front feet and simple curved back legs. These originally would have sat either side of a large central cabinet and you can still see where this would have been attached. Stunningly versatile interiors pieces that could be used in any room from the lounge or dinning room to bedroom side tables...

A pretty Victorian rosewood veneered secretaire/bookcase, converted from a cabinet piano. Two glass doors open to two shelves over a converted cylindrical piano lid, that opens to reveal a pull out writing slide under open stationary holes, all resting on carved tapered legs. The top of the piece has larger beaded detailing  with small decorative beading  to most edges and around the original glass door fronts. Either side of the top section has two carved tapered columns. There is a small metal pull with which to open the glass doors and two carved circular handles with which to open up the secretaire section. The base has a concealed storage section fronted by two solid, bead edged doors with small metal pulls. The whole piece is on small casters. The exterior has aged to a wonderful warm colour. This slim piece is useful as it does not intrude too far into a space, as well as being a stunning piece of furniture in any interior...
