This is a large imposing mirror, a lovely shape and warm toned wood, that would make a stunning statement on any wall or propped up against a wall. These mirrors are a lot more versatile than you would think, they reflect light and space in dark spaces, a lounge, dinning room or hallway, great as a full length mirror in a bedroom or dressing room and we love antique mirrors in bathrooms, to soften what is quite often a hard, clinical space. This mirror has double carved lines all around the mirror, some intricate carving at the bases at the sides with flowers and leaves and scrollwork. At the top the mirror has a pediment with intricatly carved wheat sheaves and leaves, a central bow 2 flower decals and 3 carved pediments, (one of these is damaged at the base). The carved frame sits around a thick bevelled mirror which has a few small areas of foxing. You can buy it as it is, but if you would like it renovated, we can do that too. Just give us a call or email and we will price it up for you.
