Brass Locomotive Name Plates with a Wills Railway Engine Tobacco Card Album
Set of four engineered British Rail Class 52 Locomotive brass name plates with an accompanying Wills Railway Engine Tobacco Card Album filled with wonderful, colourful train tobacco cards.
We are not sure what the brass name plates have come off, maybe they are from some scaled engineered models? None the less they are rather cool.
Our research has found that the name plates are from the following locomotives...
The Western Buccaneer D1018 from BR Swindon. Built 2.4.1963 - scrapped 20.03.1974
The Western Thunderer D1011 from BR Swindon. Built 27.10.1962 - scrapped 12.1974
The Western Crusader D1004 from BR Swindon. Built 12.5.1962 - scrapped 19.09.74
The Western Chieftain D1057 from BR Crewe. No dates available
A great little collection of railway items for the steam enthusiast.
