A contemporary take on the livestock painting style reminiscent of the 18th C by the modern artist, Haydn Cornner. This is one big fat juicy pig! Painted on to board and finished in a black frame with gold detail.
In the early 1980’s Haydn began a successful career as an illustrator. Clients included the BBC, Penguin Books, the Independent and The New Yorker. Painting in oils, he carefully builds up layers of smooth, graduated opaque colour using sharp contrasts and fine detail. His work possesses a surreal dreamlike quality.
