A large and beautiful slab of shaped mellow grey stone containing an abundance of orthoceras and ammonite fossils. The surface has a smooth texture which appears to have great depth which would look lovely left as it is or polished up.
It would have originally been atop a French Empire bombe chest of drawers. A stunningly versatile interiors piece, that could be used behind an Aga, sink or bath, or perhaps reused as a table top. It is so beautiful it would look lovely mounted on a wall....
