A fantastic original Gents' of Leicester, Chloride wall clock from the late 70's early 80's. Made of an unmarked, thick, black Bakelite body. The silver face has black numerals and hands and reads ‘Chloride Gent’ and ‘Made in England’. The case has a hinged steel plate for attaching to the wall.
Gents’ of Leicester was taken over by Chloride in 1981 and was known as ‘Chloride Gent’ The company was sold by Chloride to the MK Electric Group in 1982.
In excellent vintage condition; no cracks or glass scratches. The face and case are incredibly clean for their age.
The clock keeps perfect time with its original Gent's time movement that runs on 240v. Just plug it in and off you go!
Would look great on any wall. A timeless classic.
