A very versatile 1940s collapsible oak bookcase & secretaire. An amazing piece of furniture that breaks down into easily manageable chunks, making it easy to have a decent sized & practical piece of furniture in places in your home that is otherwise hard to get to with traditional solid pieces of furniture.
It comes in 3 collapsible bookcase sections with up & over glass doors and a secretaire section which can be positioned at different levels. The secretaire has a fold down flap that turns into the desk, 6 drawers with brass card markers and plenty of little cubby holes.
The base has two lion feet on the base but unfortunately the front detail of the right foot is missing.
A good looking practical piece of furniture.
