About Us...

IntoVintage was founded in 2011 by Allison Spink with her husband Nick always around in the background adding that extra pair of hands shifting and moving the heavy items!  She continues a passion for antiques and unusual items that has been passed down through the families generations.

Nick's grandfather Jack, a master fibrous plasterer, was responsible for some of the finest decorative ceilings in the country. He worked on prestigious projects from Leeds Castle to Buckingham Palace, whilst later in life becoming the creative director of the famous Southend Kursaal Pleasure Palace. During his long illustrious career he amassed a huge amount of antiques, filling his home with the most wonderful of pieces.

Nick's Dad Roger also had an appreciation of the interesting and beautiful, having grown up in a house that resembled the British Museum and being surrounded by beautiful objects, he went on to work for many years in the world of fashion and interior magazines. After retiring from the media world he opened SPINK, a well- known and much loved antique shop in Leigh on Sea, England.

Allison with a background in design and interiors and Nick a creative director in the advertising industry, carry forward the family passion and tradition of sourcing and renovating antiques and decorative items. Mixing together an eclectic mix of cool and bespoke objects.

We hope you find something cool and enjoy your visit to IntoVintage.co.uk
All the best Allison and Nick
