Working rare Spirit of St Louis airplane table lighter made by the Swank company of 1950s out of Japan. Amazing vintage piece in perfect working condition. This is a semi-automatic piece. Just spin the nose cone, and the cockpit flips open activating the lighter.
The Spirit of St Louis was the first airplane to fly non-stop intercontinentally from Long Island, New York to Paris France, piloted by Charles Lindbergh.
Approximately 2 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" long/wide.
COMPOSITION: Brass
DIMENSIONS (L) 14cm (W) 17cm
CONDITION: The propellers are missing on the nose cone, apart from that excellent working condition.
