A fantastic lamp by Fase of Madrid, Spain - model Falux. Designed by Luiz Perez de la Oliva in the early 1970s.
If it looks familiar to you then you'll know
it was Don Draper´s desk lamp in "Man Men".
Made from a combination of hard wood, aluminium and chromed steel. It stands on a fully rotating base that houses the on/off switch and is in great shape.
There are some light scratches to the wood section and some small paint chips on the painted sections. Also the glass opaque lens is missing.
Fase lamps are becoming increasingly sought after and this particular model is a rare beast indeed, especially in the colour combo of red and cream.
