A working Georgian mahogany encased steel door lock with original key. Brass escutcheon to the open face side.
The mahogany case has a partly worn makers mark stamped in. The word 'LANCASHIRE' can be clearly seen, but only the letters 'LEY' of the original word that sits above are still visible.
The lock comes with its original chunky key that slides easily into the lock and turns beautifully.
