A great looking card laundry case from the Martello Laundry of the Crumbles in Eastbourne. Made from heavy-duty card panels and reinforced with poly studded corner brackets to withstand the wear and tear of early-to-mid 20th-century commercial transportation.
These card delivery trunks and boxes are highly collectible items today, frequently utilised as blanket boxes, or decorative storage.

COMPOSITION:  Card with Poly Fittings & Leather

COLOURS: Orange & Black

DIMENSIONS:  (W) 49cm  (H) 29cm  (D) 9.5cm 

CONDITION:  Vintage condition with age related wear. The leather strap has unfortunately snapped but still looks good when displayed.
