A terracotta Airman Bust by sculpture Jaroslav Horejc, titled Hlava Pilota. Signed on the right shoulder 'HOREJC JC'.
Horejc (1886-1983) was a Czech sculptor and designer born in Prague. He studied at the specialised school of jewellery and the School of Applied Arts, both in Prague. He was a noted sculptor and also designed important Art Deco works in both glass and jewellery.
