A fine Victorian Pewter Quart Jug, dating from the 19th century, with a simple yet particularly handsome utilitarian form. The jug features a cylindrical body with a rolled rim, pronounced horizontal bands and concentric moulded detailing around the foot, together with a substantial curved handle and shaped pouring lip.
The pewter has developed an attractive, naturally aged patina with areas of darker oxidation and surface wear, giving the piece considerable character.
