Beautiful Bewlay's cobalt blue glazed tobacco jar from the early 20th century. It has a glazed stoneware lid and wonderful distressed BEWLAY'S gilt label with a separate 'HIGH DRIED' label below.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only minor wear and tear.
Bewlays were a group of tobacconists who specialised in pipe tobacco in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and were one of the first to introduce cigars to the UK.

CONDITION: Very Good
FLAWS: The labels are distressed but this is expected of a jar this old and just adds to the beauty of the jar.
