Great looking, very original, very heavy, Vintage GEC Blast Lamp.
Marked 'G.E.C. Made in England by The General Electric Co Ltd of England'. The top section is in a thick casted iron with an incredibly thick glass dome. The dome is protected by a heavy gauge wired frame.
A new sturdy galvanised hook has been added, it's been rewired and comes with its original chain.
These lamps were produced for military facilities and were certainly built to last, being able to survive pretty much anything you threw at it!
